About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Interim Nursery Manager to join our team at Tops Day Nurseries. As an Interim Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, educational, and fun environment for the children in our care.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Organize activities such as games, crafts, and educational tasks to promote learning and development.
- Communicate effectively with children, staff members, and parents to ensure a positive and supportive environment.
- Develop and implement an age-appropriate program of annual events and activities.
- Prepare the nursery for Ofsted inspections and follow inspector recommendations.
- Manage the nursery budget and make financial decisions to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
- Recruit and train staff members to ensure the nursery has a skilled and dedicated team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents and carers to ensure their needs are met and their children receive the best possible care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in early years education, with a strong understanding of best practices and current trends.
- Childcare qualification and experience of leading the improvement of Early Years Foundation Stage provision and outcomes.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of good practice in the early years, including statutory curriculum assessment and local and national educational initiatives.
