Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1) at our primary school in Hillingdon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide targeted 1:1 support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, Global Delay, and Down Syndrome.
  • Assist with the management of the class and carry out interventions to support pupils' learning.
  • Deliver programmes tailored to children's needs and work with groups of children to carry out valuable interventions.
  • Use creativity and compassion to excite and educate pupils, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN.
  • A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for children to flourish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative and confident to use innovation to create fun and exciting activities.
