Position Overview

We are seeking two experienced Commercial Lawyers to join our dynamic team, working in a hybrid environment. Our team is dedicated to supporting the energy transition by providing innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

As part of our Legal, Compliance and Data Protection Team, you will play a crucial role in advising on various aspects of energy infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Legal Support for Energy Infrastructure: Offer comprehensive legal advice on the development, sales, construction, and operation of energy infrastructure projects, including biomass and low carbon heating systems.
  • B2B Energy Solutions: Assist in the procurement, construction, and operation of energy solutions for commercial and public sector clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • Qualification as a solicitor or barrister in the UK.
  • Experience in advising on complex commercial agreements.
  • Strong business acumen and a practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.

Desirable Attributes

While not essential, the following experience would be advantageous:
  • Background in the energy sector or a regulated environment.
  • Experience working in-house within a corporate setting.
