About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of recovery staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure the smooth operation of our services.
  • Provide exceptional care to our patients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures within the Recovery Department.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner.Knowledge of a broad range of theatre procedures and instrumentation/processes equivalent to postgraduate level.Recent experience within theatres working as a registered practitioner in an acute practice setting involving the supervision/education of junior staff.Healthcare leadership/management qualification.Ability to travel across all Trust sites/services and attend meetings outside of the organisation as a representative of the service/Trust.What We Offer
