About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of recovery staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. - Collaborate with our nursing and medical teams to develop and implement evidence-based practice.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures within the Recovery Department.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner.Knowledge of a broad range of theatre procedures and instrumentation/processes equivalent to postgraduate level.Recent experience within theatres working as a registered practitioner in an acute practice setting involving the supervision/education of junior staff.Healthcare leadership/management qualification.Ability to travel across all Trust sites/services and attend meetings outside of the organisation as a representative of the service/Trust.What We OfferAs a Band 6 Recovery Team Leader at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
