Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Unplanned Care Therapy Team as a Senior Occupational Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients in need of acute therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with complex needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Lead and manage a team of Occupational Therapists, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure excellent patient care and team performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care pathways, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient flow.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of therapy services, including training and education programs, to enhance patient care and staff development.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based solutions to enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Graduate Diploma or BSc Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification recognized by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- HCPC registration and a minimum of 2 years' experience as a qualified Occupational Therapist.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and managing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
