Higher Level Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our partner school in Lewisham. As a key member of the primary school team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and delivering effective lessons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with class teachers and other staff to deliver inclusive and tailored lessons.
  • Support children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, ensuring their ongoing learning and social development.
  • Assist in lesson planning and contribute to the development of a supportive and adaptive classroom environment.
Requirements:
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working as a HLTA, with a strong ability to support children with SEN.
  • Valid, in-date enhanced DBS certificate.
