Our client, a leading practice of chartered accountants, requires an experienced individual to contribute to their expanding workload. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse range of accounting tasks across various business structures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Assist in the preparation of corporate and income tax computations.
  • Conduct general bookkeeping duties and prepare VAT returns.
  • Communicate effectively with clients as needed.
  • Explore opportunities to contribute to other areas such as CIS payroll, Making Tax Digital, and more.
Requirements:
  • You should be studying or hold a qualification from AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) or possess equivalent experience gained within a practice environment.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Iris, Sage, or Xero is beneficial but not essential.
  • Prior experience in preparing accounts and tax returns within an accounting practice setting is highly desirable.
