Position Overview:

We are seeking a committed Business Continuity Specialist to enhance our operational framework at ION. This role involves managing the Business Continuity Planning initiatives across ION Markets. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in business continuity strategies within the financial services industry and a comprehensive understanding of operational resilience standards. As a vital member of the Operational Resilience team, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing strategies to ensure business resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Business Continuity initiatives for ION Markets.
  • Formulate proactive Business Continuity strategies and frameworks.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to develop BC Plans that align with essential services.
  • Perform Business Impact assessments to establish priorities for BC Planning.
  • Design and manage a comprehensive BC management framework.
  • Address third-party risks within the context of BC planning.
  • Facilitate BC plan drills and communication exercises.
  • Continuously monitor and refine BC planning processes to comply with regulatory standards.
  • Provide updates on BC status and risks across the Markets portfolio.
  • Develop action plans and identify vulnerabilities in critical business operations.
  • Support risk analysis and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders regarding operational resilience and regulatory updates.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in all facets of Business Continuity Planning.
  • Practical experience with Fusion RM BCP planning and resilience functionalities.
  • Familiarity with UK and European regulations governing Business Continuity.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and influence.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing and enhancing BC planning.
