About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled SOC Analyst to take their career to the next level in a challenging and rewarding role that offers career progression.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude who can work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be confident in both spoken and written communications, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to meet deadlines and maintain high standards even under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze security events and incidents reported by clients, providing first and second-line support as needed.
  • Onboard clients to security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and OT Monitoring.
  • Perform false positive and false negative analysis to ensure accurate threat detection.
  • Escalate high-severity threats to clients and technical teams as required.
  • Support the SOC Team Lead on requests and projects within the area of expertise.
  • Accurately log time against client work for billing purposes.
  • Handle technical incident tickets within contractual SLAs and KPIs.
  • Respond to emergency outages in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Requirements
  • Experience with EDR solutions such as Sentinel One and Palo Alto Cortex.
  • Working knowledge of IT support or security/SOC teams.
  • Familiarity with IAM platforms such as Azure AD and Okta.
  • Understanding of network environments, firewalls, and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of security concepts, including CIA and MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
  • ITIL certification and CompTIA Security+ or CySA+.
  • Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Perl.
  • Understanding of ticket management systems and SLAs.
