Executive Chef

Aspens Services Ltd is a leading contract catering company specializing in school food. We combine our understanding of the education sector with our knowledge of food trends to encourage creativity and excitement in our kitchens. Our teams provide fantastic food experiences for children, and we're committed to delivering exceptional service.

We're seeking an experienced Chef Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll have full operational and financial responsibility for your school's catering facility. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality food and service, as well as driving sales through promotions and events.

• Lead, develop, and motivate your kitchen team
• Manage catering operations, including stock, food, and labor costs
• Ensure consistency of food and service standards
• Drive sales through promotions and events
• Manage and improve controllable costs
• Oversee menu development
• Maintain company systems and procedures
• Carry out regular audits to ensure standards are met

We're looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service. You'll need:

• OND or HND qualification (advantageous but not required)
• Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
• Knowledge of health and safety practices
• Financial understanding of gross profit management and sales targets
• Line management experience
• Experience in a similar environment
