Job Title: Lead Design Engineer - Innovation Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Design Engineer to join our team at Hunter Selection. As a Lead Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of new products and technologies, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Lead the design and development of new products and technologies, ensuring they meet customer requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of design engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and solve complex technical problems, using your expertise and experience to find creative solutions.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Education: BEng Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a lead or senior design engineer role, with a strong background in mechanical engineering and product development.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, including experience with FEA and other design tools. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
