Audit & Accounts Manager

Job Summary:
TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit & Accounts Manager to join a reputable chartered accountancy practice in Kent. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing audit and accounts work, and providing exceptional service to clients.
Main Responsibilities:
- Client Portfolio Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including company and charity audit clients, company accounts, and taxation.
- Audit and Accounts Work: Plan and deliver audit and accounts assignments, lead complex assignments, and review statutory accounts preparation and corporate tax computations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise junior staff, review their work, and provide coaching and guidance for improved performance and technical development.
- Client Communication: Manage client communication effectively, identify cross-selling opportunities, and monitor chargeability and assignment budgets.
- Specialist Knowledge: Develop and maintain specialist sector knowledge, stay up-to-date with industry developments, and contribute to the training and development program.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified with post-qualification experience, or qualified by experience.
- Skills: Ability to apply audit standards through practical application, knowledge of UK GAAP, and practical knowledge of the preparation of group accounts.
- Experience: Experience of both not-for-profit clients and corporate clients would be advantageous.
Benefits:
- Competitive Salary: Circa £48,000 - £58,000 dependent on experience, background, and qualifications.
