Production Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to lead our team at Outernet Creative Studio in central London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex projects across various clients and internal experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations and production processes for the Studio
  • Work with Producers to monitor and track creative department workloads to ensure cost-effective and efficient completion
  • Oversight and ownership of production management tools
  • Schedule resources across teams, identify potential gaps, and source additional support
  • Produce comprehensive, accurate, and precise production planning and reporting for all content production
  • Manage and monitor studio department and production budgets, forecasting and reporting progress by best practices
  • Ensure crucial delivery milestones are met for projects
  • Support the Commercial Team where needed for budget and client meetings
  • Negotiate, book, and manage external producers, crews, equipment suppliers, and postproduction facilities
  • Develop and implement highly effective and reportable operating procedures for all production and postproduction activities
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by introducing new technologies and processes that enhance production quality and efficiency
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience working as an experienced Production Manager or Project Manager across all media formats
  • Exceptional time management, being highly organized and resourceful
  • Demonstrate proven experience in handling several projects simultaneously across multiple deadlines
  • Utilize and manage resource management, project management, time, and profit tracking tools
  • Sharp eye for detail and quality control
  • Experience and confidence in managing people/projects
