Transport Planner

ATC Computer Transport & Logistics is a leading European logistics and technical services specialist for data centres. Our focus is on delivering industry-leading standards for safety, security, and reliability.
We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for planning, booking, monitoring, and reporting on transport routes across Europe, the UK, and Ireland.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience in transport planning, with a strong understanding of EU regulations and a working knowledge of a European language. You will work closely with clients' supply chain functions to ensure schedules are met and accurately reported.
Key responsibilities include:
- Active monitoring of all shipments in-transit, providing updates to colleagues and customers
- Ensuring all Microsoft milestones are updated as per our SLA
- Liaising with sub-contractors, overseas offices, and staff to ensure schedules and SLAs are met
- Liaising with clients, ATC operations, and field teams to ensure service levels are maintained
- Planning workloads & reloading for drivers and vehicles ensuring minimal empty running of vehicles
- Working as part of a planning team with cross-training for colleagues
- Liaising with accounts team to ensure accurate billing
