Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and uphold effective health and safety policies, procedures, and systems to support all operational areas.
  • Serve as the main contact for health and safety inquiries from employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Prepare, review, and manage all health and safety documentation, including risk assessments and safe working practices.
  • Stay informed about HSE regulations and industry developments to maintain compliance and best practices.
  • Analyze health and safety data to produce reports and implement strategies for a safer environment.
  • Document and investigate incidents and accidents, utilizing findings to mitigate future risks.
  • Collaborate with HR to develop and maintain comprehensive health and safety training programs for all personnel.
  • Lead health and safety audits, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify the correct implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the execution of the Club's Health and Safety Policies during large events, focusing on crowd management and incident prevention.
  • Communicate positive health and safety performance to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and engagement.
  • Introduce innovative solutions while upholding exceptional health and safety standards.
  • Assist HR with occupational health matters and risk assessments.
  • Promote equality and diversity within the workplace, fostering an inclusive culture.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing health and safety for large, multi-site operations.
  • Extensive background in crowd safety management and overseeing large events.
  • Strong knowledge of data protection laws and relevant health and safety systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
