Security Operations Lead

We are seeking a dedicated Security Operations Lead to oversee security measures at our facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, assets, and information across our locations.
You will play a vital role in managing security operations, ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external regulations.
Reporting to the Security Operations Manager, your expertise in security management will be essential in achieving our operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Security Operations Lead, you will:
• Direct daily security operations to meet current and future business objectives.
• Ensure adherence to security policies and procedures to achieve operational effectiveness.
• Oversee security inspections and visits by regulatory bodies.
• Manage and maintain security technology to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support security initiatives.
• Act as a representative for security, promoting a culture of safety and awareness.
• Lead and develop security teams to ensure effective service delivery.
• Manage relationships with third-party service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Conduct security investigations and respond to incidents as necessary.
• Provide expert security advice and guidance to the organization.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
• Proven experience in Operational Security Management, preferably in a defense-related environment.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of motivating teams.
• Experience in policy implementation and guidance.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
• Experience as a Crypto custodian or in a similar role.
• Understanding of operational requirements and approved equipment processes.
• Skills in engaging and influencing key stakeholders.
• Proficiency in managing internal and external challenges to achieve business objectives.
• Excellent planning and analytical capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively at senior levels.
