About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Westwood House Nursing Home. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized care to residents, adhering to their individual care plans and monitoring their progress.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, identifying physical, psychological, and social needs, and develop care plans to address these needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to create a positive and supportive environment, promoting resident well-being and dignity.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • Experience working in a clinical setting, with a strong understanding of infection control, nutrition, moving and handling, wound care, phlebotomy, and drug administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A genuine passion for working with older adults and their families, with a commitment to providing person-centered care.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £20.55.
  • Full and part-time hours available, with various shift options, including days, evenings, nights, and alternate weekends.
