Job Title: Anaesthetic Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Anaesthetic Nurse to join our team at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide skilled assistance to medical staff during the administration, maintenance, and termination of general regional or local anaesthetics. They will work closely with the theatre team to ensure the smooth operation of the theatres and provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled assistance to medical staff during anaesthetic procedures
  • Contribute to the effective day-to-day operation of the theatres
  • Work closely with the theatre team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Develop and maintain skills and knowledge in anaesthetic and surgical procedures
Person Specification:

We are looking for an individual with:

  • RODP or RGN qualification
  • Experience in anaesthetic and/or surgical and/or recovery skills
  • Desirable: Extended role, Advanced Life Support, Insertion of Laryngeal Mask, Diploma/Degree
