Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Head of Sustainability and Quality to lead our strategic initiatives across the UK and Ireland. This newly created role will play a pivotal part in advancing our commitment to quality, sustainability, health and safety, and environmental (QSHSE) and dangerous goods stewardship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive compliance in QSHSE and dangerous goods across all business units.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of subject matter experts across QSHSE and dangerous goods.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of Sustainable Development Goals, working closely with regional and cluster teams to ensure effective implementation and alignment with cluster and corporate goals.
  • Implement robust tracking and reporting systems for ESG, QSHSE, including carbon reporting and dangerous goods KPIs.
  • Foster a culture of sustainability and continuous improvement, promoting best practices across all levels of the organization.
  • Serve as the cluster's primary representative in network meetings and external forums, advocating for QSHSE solutions and best practices.
  • Provide strategic advice to business units and commercial teams on customer-specific requirements, ESG & QSHSE trends, and quality management systems.
  • Lead quality management initiatives, ensuring that all processes meet or exceed customer and regulatory expectations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance the capabilities of your team, management, and all employees to ensure compliance with all QSHSE standards.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of operational standards, KPIs, and compliance measures related to either quality, sustainability, health and safety, environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of ESG and carbon standards, regulations, and data reporting would be advantageous.
  • Experience managing and developing teams of subject matter experts, with a focus on collaboration and empowerment.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and initiatives, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and sustainable growth.
