Senior Electronics Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our team in Chester. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for producing innovative solutions that meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and specify design requirements prior to design commencement
  • Ensure designs meet requirements through prototyping, testing, and certification
  • Apply good design principles to mitigate supply chain dependencies
  • Identify, communicate, and propose solutions for technical issues and risk management
  • Support other teams in electronic design, build, and testing
  • Analyze, select, and test alternative components
  • Guide designs at all stages, from concept to release to manufacture
  • Understand, develop, and operate within company processes and procedures
  • Prototype bring-up, testing, and reporting
  • Support design, certification, and release to manufacture process
  • Proactively raise issues or risks discovered or foreseen
Requirements:
  • Experience in Electrical/Electronic engineering
  • Knowledge of multiple PCB CAD design packages for high-tech product designs
  • Hands-on prototyping, testing, and fault finding to component level
  • Networked / IOT / IIOT product design experience
  • Design for manufacture experience
  • Prototyping systems virtually or on the bench prior to design works
