Mechanical Project Manager
MEP Contracting (Building Services)

A prominent construction and engineering organization, celebrated for executing top-tier building services initiatives across diverse sectors—including education, healthcare, commercial, and residential—is in search of a proficient and seasoned Mechanical Project Manager.

This position involves an exciting commercial Shell & Core project currently in the early pre-construction phase. The successful applicant will be instrumental in the planning, coordination, and execution of the mechanical components of this major development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the planning and coordination of mechanical services, ensuring alignment with the overall project timeline and objectives.
- Engage in design development, cost estimation, and scheduling during the pre-construction phase.
- Oversee and manage both direct and subcontracted labor, ensuring compliance with schedules, plans, and quality standards.
- Implement and uphold site Health & Safety protocols, ensuring that Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMs) are current and relevant.
- Collaborate with clients, principal contractors, and other stakeholders to address technical challenges and ensure effective communication.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage inventory and pre-order essential materials and fittings to minimize project delays.
- Prepare and maintain thorough project documentation, including QA/Snag packs, test sheets, and results for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
- Work collaboratively with all trades to minimize oversights and disruptions, ensuring a seamless workflow.
