Pink Tile Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with specific educational needs to thrive in a nurturing school environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to children with specific needs in class, small groups, and 1:1 settings.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities, working closely with the class teacher.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all children can thrive.
- Support pupils with Cognition & Learning, Language & Social Interaction, Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social Communication Difficulties, or Sensory Processing needs.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress to ensure they receive the right level of support.
- Experience of working with children, especially those with specific educational needs.
- Minimum of English and Maths Grade C or 4 GCSE (or equivalent).
- NVQ Level 2 (or higher) in a relevant field (desired).
- A firm, kind, patient, and consistent approach, with the ability to adapt to the individual needs of pupils.
