Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor to provide high-quality support to students in need of academic guidance. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering personalized tuition to students in a one-to-one setting, focusing on Numeracy and Literacy skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored learning plans to students, promoting academic progress and confidence.
- Utilize a flexible and creative approach to engage students and make learning enjoyable.
- Work collaboratively with students, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress, adjusting tuition plans as needed to meet individual needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Requirements:
- Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, with a focus on Numeracy and Literacy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and parents.
- Ability to think creatively and adapt to individual student needs.
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or those who are disengaged from education.
