Job Title: Data and Digital Lead

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a highly skilled Data and Digital Lead to join our team. As a key member of our digital organization, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of digital tools and solutions to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the development and implementation of digital solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop digital solutions to meet those needs.
  • Manage and provide high-level data science and statistical capabilities to support business operations.
  • Develop and implement training and mentoring programs to support the development of data science and analytics skills within the organization.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for data science and statistics, providing technical solutions and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Lead digital continuous improvement initiatives to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum BS degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Engineering, Mathematics, Chemistry).
  • Leadership experience and a proven track record of success in a technical or data-related environment.
  • Familiarity with best practice project management tools and methods.
  • Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in a STEM field and experience in coaching and developing others.
