Data Protection M&A Specialist

Job Title: Data Protection M&A AdministratorWe're seeking an ambitious professional with a strong background in project management, particularly within the M&A space. You'll be responsible for identifying and communicating risks, ensuring they're addressed by the right stakeholders. Building good relationships comes naturally to you, especially with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with the Group Data Protection Officer to create and implement a structured Data Protection M&A workstream.
- Provide transparency of risks through effective program governance and ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards.
- Collaborate with acquired businesses to understand their operations and products from a privacy perspective.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure smooth project transitions to business-as-usual.
- Good programme management skills, with the ability to execute against set timelines.
- Knowledge of UK and EU data protection legislation and regulations.
- Highly autonomous with capability to proactively drive initiatives.
