About the Role

As a skilled Industrial Shutter Door Maintenance Engineer with Arcus FM, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for shutters and automatic gates at various retail outlets, including Sainsbury's. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and safely, meeting the required Service Level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing and repairs for shutters and automatic gates, achieving first-time fix rates
  • Diagnose and identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions and escalating where necessary
  • Sponsor and complete surveys and technical reports, ensuring audits and checks are carried out in line with standards provided
  • Represent Arcus FM, maintaining a good impression and adhering to the dress code and company vehicle standards

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have significant experience in a retail environment, with a strong understanding of industrial shutter door systems, including roller shutters, fire shutters, sectional doors, and automatic gates. You will be a skilled communicator, able to effectively convey operational issues and service updates to colleagues and stakeholders. Additionally, you will have a full UK driving license, 17th or 18th Edition AMD3, CSCS Cards, IPAF & PASMA, and be able to work autonomously in a pressurized environment.
