Job DescriptionThis is a full-time Bid Manager role, requiring on-site presence at our location. The Bid Manager will be responsible for managing the entire bid process from preparation to post-tender reviews. The role involves liaising with various departments for input into the bid process, creating bid timelines and schedules, reviewing bid proposals, and identifying areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver winning, high-value contracts in the social housing and NHS sectors.
- Manage government tenders and portals.
- Lead bid management from opportunity identification to project delivery.
- Develop and implement bid strategies.
- Manage complex, multi-workstream opportunities.
- Provide valuable input into value proposition development, opportunity qualification, win strategy, commercial discussions, and solution delivery.
- Manage bid preparation, bid management, and bid writing.
- Lead bid teams and create solutions for complex bids.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proven ability in delivering winning, high-value contracts.
- Experience in government tenders and portals.
- A background in bid management from opportunity identification through to project delivery.
- Proven team leadership skills in office-based environments.
- Commercial understanding, with risk management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Effective time-management and organizational skills.
- Experience in the construction industry, social housing, and NHS contracts.
- A competitive salary of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience and background.
