Environmental Chemistry Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Chemistry Analyst to become a vital part of our renowned international laboratory.
In this role, you will operate with a degree of autonomy, performing a variety of analyses using Gas Chromatography with Flame Ionization Detection (GC-FID) and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) on diverse environmental specimens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct GC-FID and GC-MS analyses on environmental samples.
- Oversee the upkeep and resolution of any instrument-related issues, coordinating with external technicians as needed to ensure minimal downtime.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of hands-on experience with gas chromatography systems.
- Proven expertise in the maintenance and troubleshooting of GC instruments.
- Experience in a certified laboratory environment is preferred.
