Job Overview

Position: Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: Hampshire

Salary: £50,000

An excellent opportunity has emerged to become part of a highly reputable facilities management organization, known for its outstanding service in the sector. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in commercial gas engineering, with experience in handling various equipment including boilers, air handling units (AHUs), pumps, and motors. The selected engineer will manage multiple sites along the South Coast, fostering strong relationships while executing both reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform as a Commercial Gas Engineer
  • Conduct PPMs and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Work on boilers, AHUs, water booster systems, mechanical systems, ventilation systems, and temperature testing
  • Carry out inspections, fault diagnostics, and troubleshooting
  • Participate in on-call duties (1 in 4 schedule, details to be discussed during the interview)
  • Work a standard 45-hour week

Qualifications:

  • Possession of commercial gas certifications is essential
  • F Gas certification is preferred
  • Valid UK driving license required
