Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at HVAC Recruitment. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of commercial gas systems across a range of commercial properties, ensuring safety and compliance at all times.

About the Role:

Covering Portsmouth and the surrounding areas, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on commercial gas appliances, boilers, and heating systems.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying faults on gas systems and equipment efficiently.
  • Conducting gas safety inspections, testing, and certification to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Providing excellent service and support to clients within a range of commercial environments, including offices, educational institutions, retail spaces, and healthcare facilities.
  • Adhering to health and safety protocols, ensuring all work complies with regulatory standards.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1).
  • Proven experience working in the commercial facilities maintenance sector.
  • Strong understanding of gas compliance and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently.
  • Full UK driving licence.
