Job Summary

Cognite is seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Writer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Medical Writer, you will be responsible for developing in-depth scientific knowledge of allocated accounts and using this to shape the communications for client brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of complex scientific concepts and therapies to inform and enhance the quality of our medical writing.
  • Take the lead on scientific discussions with medical experts and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective communication of scientific information.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues, including account managers, creatives, editors, and medical strategists, to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of brand strategy and ensure messaging and content are aligned with client goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, guidelines, and best practices to inform and enhance the quality of our medical writing.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant science (essential) or a postgraduate qualification or PhD (desirable).
  • Proven experience in medical writing within a medical communications agency or similar environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
