Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAM) is a leading provider of heavy aircraft maintenance services for Ryanair, with a key role in ensuring the safe maintenance of over 450 aircraft.
We are seeking a skilled Document Controller to join our team, responsible for coordinating the printing and distribution of aircraft check packs, as well as ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and accurately recorded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Check Supervisors to ensure accurate and timely printing of aircraft check packs.
- Print and distribute check packs to relevant zones of the aircraft.
- Collate and verify all aircraft paperwork, ensuring it is completed correctly and accurately recorded.
- Follow up on incomplete or missing paperwork.
- Ensure all paperwork is scanned, bookmarked, backed up, and entered into aircraft records.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in document control or a related field is an advantage.
- Aircraft experience or knowledge is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of AMOS is desirable.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills are essential.
- Strong communication (written and oral) skills are required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, is necessary.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must have initiative, be enthusiastic, and understand the importance of professional integrity.
- Successful candidate must provide a clean Disclosure Scotland to work at UK Airports.
