Nursing Home Manager

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead our dedicated team and ensure the highest standards of care and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Resident Care Excellence: Oversee all aspects of resident care, ensuring that staff deliver exceptional support aligned with individual needs and promote positive outcomes. Cultivate a culture focused on person-centered care planning, regular reviews, and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the home efficiently and effectively. This includes resource allocation, cost control, maintaining occupancy levels, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, motivate, and support a team of dedicated care professionals. Conduct regular staff appraisals, provide supervision, and facilitate ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Implement robust quality assurance systems to monitor and improve the delivery of care. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies through audits, inspections, and investigations.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Build strong relationships with external agencies, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure seamless coordination of care and support for residents.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
  • Valid NMC Pin
  • Evidence of post-registration professional development
  • Proven experience managing a care or nursing home
  • Level 5 Management and Leadership qualification (desirable)
