Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Work Team Manager to lead our Safeguarding Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to your team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Social Workers, Advanced Practitioners, and Newly Qualified Social Workers to ensure the effective delivery of safeguarding services.
  • Develop and implement team plans to meet objectives and achieve performance targets.
  • Allocate and prioritize workloads effectively to ensure the care of the child is paramount.
  • Provide coaching and support to team members to develop their skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure effective multi-agency practice.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
  • Experience of leadership and management in a similar role.
  • Ability to manage a team and develop their skills and performance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
