Position Overview:

We are seeking applications for a LAT position within the Anaesthetic Training Programme in the North of Scotland. This role is classified at the ST4 level, with potential for appointment at a lower grade depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.

Training Programme Details:

The Anaesthetic Training Programme is facilitated through two key hospitals, providing comprehensive training across various surgical specialties. Candidates will have the opportunity to engage in both clinical practice and educational activities, contributing to the training of medical students and junior doctors.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants should possess a minimum of 12 months of prior experience in Anaesthesia within the UK. It is advantageous to have completed the Initial Assessment of Competence and the Initial Assessment of Competence in Obstetric Anaesthesia. Candidates with over 18 months of experience in Anaesthesia may also be considered for this position.

Educational Approvals:

This placement has received the necessary educational and deanery approvals, ensuring a robust training environment for all participants.
