Successful candidates will need to:

  • Have prior experience as an Assistant Principal in a comparable setting.
  • Be knowledgeable about Ofsted standards, continuously enhancing your understanding of requirements to help the school achieve outstanding ratings.
  • Possess the ability to inspire, motivate, and support both staff and students through a person-centered approach.
  • Exhibit a proactive attitude, demonstrating a desire to succeed and enhance our educational environment.
  • Show exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Be dedicated and passionate about working with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, along with various other challenges, including trauma and attachment issues.
  • Demonstrate a clear vision, strong leadership capabilities, and effective management skills.
  • Be an enthusiastic and committed leader, capable of managing and inspiring both students and staff, and driving teams to elevate student achievement.
  • Understand the importance of creativity in delivering the National Curriculum while assisting students in overcoming their learning barriers.
  • Have a solid grasp of the new Ofsted Education Inspection Framework and Independent School Standards.
