About the Role

The Head of City Office will lead the City Office team in coordinating Bristol's One City Partnership, a response to the city's challenges and opportunities. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of service or team management, outcome-focused delivery, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the City Office team in developing and implementing the One City Approach
  • Manage senior internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Raise funding and negotiate in-kind contributions
  • Develop strategy, including the One City Plan
  • Oversee City Office support and delivery of key projects and priorities

Working with the Council and Partners

The Head of City Office will work closely with the council's senior political leaders and officers, as well as major anchor institutions in the city, to set strategic direction for One City and ensure its implementation.
