About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology Assistant to join our team at Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital. As a Radiology Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our radiologists and radiographers in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist radiologists and radiographers during imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Prepare examination rooms, maintain a clean and tidy environment, and ensure all necessary equipment is available.
  • Act as a chaperone during examinations, providing emotional support to patients.
  • Receive and prepare patients for examinations, verifying their identity and ensuring they are aware of the procedure.
  • Provide administrative support to the admin team, including booking appointments, maintaining the diary, and responding to queries.
  • Stock taking and ordering, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available.
Requirements
  • GCSE Maths and English.
  • Level 3 qualification in Healthcare (or equivalent).
  • Experience within a healthcare work environment, preferably in a people-focused setting.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Good organisation skills.
