We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at Howells Recruitment. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of construction sites, overseeing the work of site staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Management: Oversee the day-to-day activities on site, ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standards and that site staff are working safely and efficiently.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all site staff are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and control the quality of work on site, identifying and addressing any issues or defects promptly.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage site staff, providing guidance and support as needed, and ensuring that they are working effectively and efficiently.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with site staff, clients, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and up-to-date on site activities and progress.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role, with a strong background in construction and health and safety.
  • Qualifications: SSSTS or SMSTS certification, with a trade background and IT literacy.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
