Main Responsibilities:
- Quality Management System: Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations (e.g., ISO, BRC).
- Quality and Safety Investigations: Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Health and Safety Policies: Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with legislation and best practices.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Ensure all relevant quality and H&S documentation is completed and maintained.
- Risk Assessment and Control: Conduct risk assessments and ensure that appropriate control measures are in place to mitigate identified risks.
- Incident Investigations: Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Training and Development: Organize and conduct health and safety training for employees, ensuring awareness and compliance with H&S regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in a Quality, Health, and Safety management role, preferably within the food & beverage industry.
- Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of QHS regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 9001, BRC, HACCP, OSHA).
- Problem-Solving and Communication: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with effective communication skills to influence and engage stakeholders.
