Field Service Lift Engineer

Questech Recruitment Ltd is proud to represent a prominent manufacturer in the sector, currently in search of a dedicated and skilled Field Service Lift Engineer to enhance their dynamic team. This role involves the installation, upkeep, and repair of passenger lifts and vehicle tail lifts at diverse client locations.

As a Field Service Lift Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the After Sales Manager, who will allocate tasks and offer necessary assistance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Commissioning: Execute the installation and commissioning of lifts in adherence to safety regulations, conducting thorough site evaluations to ensure compliance.
  • Servicing and Maintenance: Carry out regular maintenance, safety assessments, and servicing of lifts, completing all required documentation for LOLER inspections.
  • Warranty Support: Address warranty inquiries, swiftly diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic engineering.
  • Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic engineering principles, with the ability to interpret technical documents and schematics.
  • Strong analytical skills and basic IT proficiency.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
  • Valid UK driving license and readiness to travel frequently.
Package and Benefits:
  • Competitive starting salary ranging from £32k to £35k, depending on experience.
  • Overtime opportunities available.
  • Standard working hours of 40 per week, Monday to Friday.
  • 22 days of annual leave along with additional benefits.
