Nurse Position in Secure Care

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust.
Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to work in our Secure Care Services at Northgate Park, Morpeth, where we provide a range of treatment programs for adults with complex needs in a secure care setting.
You will be working with a team of experienced professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to our service users, who present with mental health conditions and pose a significant danger to themselves or the public.
Main Duties- Deliver individual and group treatments, incorporating environmental behavioral approaches to encourage positive outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to service users.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans, ensuring the needs of service users are met.
- Post-registration clinical experience in mental health or learning disability nursing.
- Successful completion of the OSCE exam.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020, and a submission for Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
