Customer Service Advisor Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Advisor at Speedy Freight, a leading national logistics provider.

Job Summary
We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to assist and manage new bookings in line with company procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Negotiating prices with customers
- Receiving orders over the telephone and inputting into our computer systems
- Scheduling appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers
- Communicating effectively with Customer Services and New Business Managers to ensure KPI targets are achieved and maintained
- Working to deadlines and independently when required
- Communicating professionally with all levels of staff and clients
- Generating own leads through research and building a pipeline of potential new business using our CRM program
- Contacting businesses by telephone to promote our services and solicit orders
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- IT literacy, including Microsoft, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Written, oral English, and Mathematics to GCSE standard
- Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
Experience
We are looking for candidates with recent experience in a similar role, a strong customer service ethic, negotiation, and telesales skills. You will also need excellent verbal and written communication skills, a confident phone manner, and good organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
