Clerical Officer in Radiology Services

University Hospitals Dorset is in search of committed and enthusiastic individuals to join our Radiology Department as Clerical Officers. Main Responsibilities:
As a key member of the team, your duties will include:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Radiology Department.
- Managing patient records and scheduling appointments efficiently.
- Assisting in the coordination of patient flow and communication between departments.
- Maintaining confidentiality and security of patient information.
- Engaging with patients, visitors, and staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
This position requires full-time commitment, including participation in a rota system that may involve weekends and public holidays. Flexibility is essential to accommodate colleagues' shifts due to absences.

Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities:In this role, you will:
- Perform essential administrative tasks to support the Radiology team.
- Assist in managing patient appointments and ensuring timely communication.
- Support the department in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Provide assistance to patients and visitors, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and patient experience.
Person Specification:
Qualifications:Essential Criteria: A solid educational background with basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Desirable Criteria: GCSE English and Maths level 4 or equivalent.
Experience:Essential Criteria: Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
