Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support our Social Work team in Cardiff. As a Social Work Resource Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to Social Workers and Managers across Adult Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact service users or their representatives to notify them of new care packages starting
- Conduct 4-weekly phone reviews with service users or their representatives following changes to care packages
- Complete relevant forms and tasks on the Carefirst database and make recommendations to allocated Social Workers
- Assist with incoming calls from service users or their representatives as part of the duty process, signposting and/or passing on relevant information to Social Workers
- Support teams and managers with updating, maintaining social work pending/allocation lists and provide statistical information as required
Requirements:
- Experience of dealing with the public
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Experience of working to legislative/corporate procedures, processes, and guidelines
What We Offer:
- A 3-month contract with the possibility of extension
- A competitive hourly rate of £15.48
