Principal Installation Supervisor for Offshore Projects

We are looking for an Offshore Lead Installation Supervisor, a seasoned expert with a solid track record in overseeing extensive construction initiatives.

Department Overview
The Installation Supervisors Team 2 is part of the Offshore Service organization within the Vestas NCE Region. You will collaborate with a diverse group of over 500 professionals dedicated to delivering Offshore Services to our esteemed clients. Our operations range from strategic planning and operational enhancements to health & safety management, technical case resolution, and service delivery for offshore wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities
This role operates at an operational level, serving as a crucial link between supervisors and daily tasks, while also reporting to the Lead Site Manager for planning duties. Your daily tasks will encompass but are not limited to:
  • Overseeing safety and quality protocols, including conducting Toolbox Talks
  • Managing daily installation operations (back office) and validating Daily Progress Reports
  • Coordinating load-out activities with Pre-Installation, Commissioning, Quality, and HSE teams
  • Ensuring quality assessments, managing evaluation/handover processes, and compiling As-Built and As-Left documentation
  • Maintaining adherence to Work Instructions and managing the interface between supervisors and fitters
  • Reporting on team performance and development to the Lead Site Manager, acting as a source of motivation for the team
  • Planning and executing mobilization, demobilization, and installation kick-offs in collaboration with IPM, CSM, and AP, while implementing process improvements and structuring work packages
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore installation
  • Strong HSEQ mindset, fostering a culture of safety and quality
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities
  • Robust technical knowledge and understanding of WTG

  • Ability to lead and inspire the supervisor team, exemplifying Vestas' quality and safety standards
  • Strong coordination and planning skills with internal stakeholders such as pre-installation, quality, and commissioning teams
