Internal Controls Lead - Financial Technology (Fintech)
£80,000 per annum, London based, 1 day a week working from home

**Job Summary**
Award-winning fintech business seeks an Internal Controls Manager to design and implement compliance frameworks, embed risk registers, and conduct controls testing and remediation. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, this role will oversee the internal control roadmap and registers, ensuring rigorous assessment of processes and policies for deficiencies and suggesting new or alternative controls.

**Key Responsibilities**
• Embed risk registers and compliance frameworks
• Conduct controls testing and remediation
• Oversee the internal control roadmap and registers
• Assess processes and policies for deficiencies and suggest new or alternative controls
• Work with first-line management to deliver control enhancements
• Provide second-line assurance of business-wide controls and issue reports of findings to management

**Requirements**
• Experience in internal audit, internal controls, risk assessment/management, regulatory compliance, or governance/SOX
• Significant experience of redesigning controls and controls testing
• Track record of delivering high-quality outputs, on time and meeting/exceeding expectations
• Accounting/Internal Audit qualifications such as ACA/ACCA or CIA are highly beneficial
• Some experience within IT Risk would be beneficial
