About the Role:

The Executive Director will be responsible for:

  • Providing Inspired Leadership: Act as a coach to the senior management team, build and model the company culture, and inspire the organization to be customer-focused.
  • Making High-Level Decisions: Develop and implement operational policies and a strategic plan, and make high-level decisions about policy and strategy.
  • Driving Growth and Profitability: Design the organization structure and staffing for growth and profitability, and develop a seamless and consistent level of excellence at every stage of contact and work within the company.
  • Managing Performance: Review progress against plans, initiate corrective action, and conduct reviews of individual performance.
  • Overseeing Fiscal Activity: Manage the company's fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
  • Reporting to the Board: Keep the board of directors informed and oversee major supplier negotiations.
  • Developing Relationships: Work with senior stakeholders, develop relationships with key customers, prospects, suppliers, regulatory authorities, and the local community.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to Degree Level in a technical subject (Imaging, Engineering, or Material Science)
  • MBA

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing management or similar industry
  • Sales of technical equipment
  • Export control
  • A proven record as a team player who has the ability and confidence to work on own initiative and independently when needed
  • Ability to train, develop, motivate, and manage teams
  • Experience in x-ray and detection technology
  • Experiences with significant operations improvements and revenue growth

Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of x-ray technology and imaging
  • Development of sales and marketing plans
  • Financial Statements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Data Analysis and presentation
