Position Overview

We are thrilled to present an opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our team as the Group Quality Assurance Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee 19 manufacturing facilities throughout Europe, ensuring that our food safety and quality standards meet BRC requirements. Key Responsibilities

This position reports directly to the Group Head of Quality and collaborates closely to advance the quality objectives across our network of factories. You will work hand-in-hand with local factory leaders to advocate for and implement best practices in product quality and safety.

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the efforts to meet technical standards at each site, contributing to the overall performance of our plants by monitoring critical safety, legal, sustainability, and quality metrics.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with the Food Safety HACCP plan, aiming for a daily Product Quality score of 100%
  • Clarifying product quality standards (BRC) for each factory team, with a focus on achieving 'zero defects'
  • Addressing customer feedback and complaints, providing weekly updates to the plants along with trend analysis and improvement strategies
  • Conducting Internal Audits according to schedule, ensuring audit scores exceed 85%
  • Managing Non-conforming Products by following internal procedures to mitigate future occurrences

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess experience in implementing and maintaining BRC & IFS audit standards across multiple facilities, along with a solid understanding of working within a matrixed organization. We seek individuals who can foster relationships with factory stakeholders, influence outcomes, and collaborate effectively.

Additionally, a comprehensive understanding of SU Quality practices through site visits and engagement with SU Quality teams is essential. You will map SU Quality processes against Nomad Foods' operational methods and support the development initiatives and training plans of the SU Quality teams.

  • BRC / IFS certifications
  • HACCP level 3 or 4
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
