Personnel Selection is working with a privately owned engineering SME based in the UK, who are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding workforce.

Job Role and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for carrying out drawing updates, BOM changes, engineering calculations, and general engineering duties. You will work closely with the technical and production departments to ensure quality and production matters are addressed, and good engineering practice is promoted at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for innovative design and a good understanding of 2D and 3D CAD. An interest in hydraulics and electromechanical control systems would be an advantage. Ideally, you will have a degree in a related subject, but we would also consider candidates with a good standard of education and relevant experience in a similar role.
